Sure enough...I gave Corpas a chance and he promptly gave up an inning's work...4-Rs (all earned), 2-Hs (including 1-HR), 1-B/1-K, which inflated his ERA from 1.66 to 3.18, which lead to his 2nd loss of the season.....

 

Oibviously, too premature to give-up on Corpas, however, my bullpen woes have really impacted me this season.... Oh well...

Thornton is available in 35% of leagues (he also has impacted in holds) and Putz is out there in 97%, so definitely grab those while you can....

Corpas is available in 87% of the leagues and flourished in that role back in '07.  Definitely someone to pick-up for the next couple of weeks (contingent on when Street has returned).......

Meek will be 27 on 5/12, so it's difficult to consider him a prospect at this time, however, he has been known as a sinker pitcher that induces several double-plays and has had rather high K/9 totals as well.  He has also been developing even more command of his pitches, which has enabled to improve one of his main weaknesses...that is his wildness.......

 

It seems though he'll be entrenched as a mid-reliever (unless Dotel obviously begins to struggle again), so he would mainly impact leagues that have holds as a category...Therefore, his current value is limited and his ceiling is minimized due to his age and role.
