I expect both of these guys to get a shot in the A's rotation with Duchscherer on the DL , but who do you guys think will do better this year and for future years. I think Anderson is the better pitcher and prospect but i would like some other opinions. Thanks

I like Brett Anderson for this year, I think he is more developed at this point.

Its hard to say who will be better in the future, but I have read that Cahill has more potential than Anderson.

Cahill is the #2 starter right now in that rotation.

Yes he is.

Cahill and Anderson are going to have a lot of bumps in the road this year. Dont expect anything consistent with these 2 SP all year long.

Thanks for the advice. Have any sleeper SPs to grab very late? In a draft now.

Im liking both of these young SP's right about now. Great for dynasty pick-ups.

Anderson has been a little shaky but he showed what he can do against the red sox. 7 innings, 2 ER.

i think the lefty (anderson) has alot of upside   and has the tools to catch on with any staff down the line . he may not be major league ready right now  but he is learning while getting big league experience.

although brett anderson has had a miserbale start his walks total has been consistently low  which is somewhat encouraging

long term i think this left fairs better then cahill a guy who was never projected to be more then a 3-4 spot inthe rotation pitcher ,
