Top 10 fantasy baseball Keepers for this season: 1. Albert Pujols – Hes still only 27 years old and makes for the top keeper. He is the only player in baseball history to hit .300/30HR/100RBI/99 runs in each of his first 8 seasons in the majors. What else do you want?
2. Hanley Ramirez – The scary thing about Hanley is he can still get better. His upside is insane. Plus he plays SS where theres only 3 great SS’s in the game. What a keeper he is.
3. Alex Rodriguez – He is getting up there in age but can still have possibly 3 more great years. Expect better power numbers out of A-rod this year which will lead to a better fantasy season for him.
4. David Wright – Theres no downside or risk with David. Hes very consistent and productive. Expect great numbers out of this young kid again.
5. Jose Reyes – Reyes is right behind Han Ram. Both are great keepers to have. Remember theres only 3 great Shortstops in the game, if you dont have one of them they might not be worth keeping. Try to get one of these Shortstops.
6. Miguel Cabrera – It took Miggy a little while to adjust to the AL but once he was comfortable, he was outstanding. My pre-season MVP pick!
7. Ryan Bruan – Hes a slugger. The best OF in the game. Keep him and enjoy.
8. Grady Sizemore – He is pretty much a lock for a 30/30 season. You just cant go wrong with Grady.
9. Johan Santana – The Mets bullpen ruined Santana’s record last year. Well guess what, the mets have fixed that problem. Look for Santana to have 20-23 wins this year and a below 2.50 ERA. The best pitcher in the game.
10. Jimmy Rollins – After Rollins there is a huge dropoff in shortstops. You need to get one of the three. Look for J-roll to have a much better season this year. Remember he was injured last year, he should be ready to go this season.
What do you guys think?
Notable keepers i left out: Lincecum, Teixeira, Lee, Pedroia
