This is a keeper league and we keep almost everyone from year to year so keeper value is to be considered. Should I pick up SP Jaime Garcia from St. Louis or SP Dallas Braden from Oakland? Thanks if you can help!

I might have to defer to others regarding this question since both are equal in my book….. I would lean towards Garcia, but by the most miniscule of margins and that is because he's younger, solid mechanics, and also how he flourished in Spring Training makes him extremely favorable….

ilike braden , i think he has the upside to be a 2-3 pitcher in the rotation
i dont see garcia ever getting past the 3rd to 5th pitcher status

I agree about both of them being equal….Another pitcher to add to the equation is Doug Fister….He's probably available in 85% of the leagues and has been extremely impressive thus far for the Mariners….

I always love the sleeper players you call out, keep 'em coming! Fisher picked-up!

I actually just picked Talbot up myself….He's available in more than 90% of the leagues….The Indians should eventually rise into 1st place in the AL Central and he'll be one of the main reasons why…..

Wow… if there wasn't more of an appropriate time to revisit this thread….
It still seems that no one could go wrong with either….. Obviously, there was Braden's perfect game on 5/9 and Garcia is 3-2, 1.18 ERA, 30-Ks/15-BBs, and a 1.08 WHIP…..
Did you end-up going with either one or was fortunate to pick-up both?
