So this is how it is going to work.  I'm just going to post who I think deserves to be the All-Star for each position based on stats for 2011.  I will list standard 5x5 stats (runs, home runs, runs batted in, stolen bases, batting average for hitters;  wins, saves, strike outs, ERA, WHIP for pitchers), plus the original pre-season yahoo rankings along with the end of the year yahoo rank.  I will refrain from commentary here, may add that as time goes by with extra posts.  Feel free to disagree; I imagine 2B will be most debated, as well as the #3 SP an the #2 RP.

I agree with all your selections again(see all flub team) Bones. The one comment I will make is Tulos' drop from 3 to 28 may seem like quite a dip but really isn't. Tulo had to endure a bad year of pitching from the Rockies. And what that has to do with Tulo is, there were a lot of games in which the pitching gave up runs early putting them in early come from behind situations. That puts alot of stress on hitters, they're not as relaxed. Plus, CarGo had a slow start hitting in front of him plus CarGo had two stints on the DL. Tulo had a GREAT year considering the obstacles and was the heart of the Rockies.

PS Napoli and Gonzalez rocked! Living in Southern California most of my life and currently I follow The Angels and Padres(sometime the Dodgers). It was good to see a former Angel and Padre have All Star caliber seasons and make this list.
