Thank God this is All-Star week.

At least I won't have to freak out about my scores for 3 days.

I head to resident camp this afternoon.  After one last look at my scores at about in early afternoon I hit the road.

You know resident camp….where they say things like "no cell phones, no computers", etc. etc.

Anyways, I'm taking the computer since I am staff, and hey, this is my job.  It may be a volunteer job, but it is a job none the less.

But it is going to be a little tougher to keep up on the news the next 7 days.  And I'll be reading about baseball far less.  And NO tv.  Maybe I'll get a life!

I'll update you if I can……

Camp has been typical for me.  Pure exhaustion and adrenaline depletion on Sunday and Monday until free time on Monday afternoon.  And then a shower and a nap, and I have my energy back.

The only difference this year is what a bummer it was to miss the Home Run hitting contest and to be able to observe that from a fantasy standpoint.

Oh well, only four and a half days to go…..

Darn it.  I knew this was gonna happen.  I'm exhausted last night and go to bed earlier than the first 2 nights and didn't check the news.  F. Rodriguez is dealt leaving Bobby Parnell as the likely closer in NY.  So I find out by going to my team that needs closers this morning only to find Parnell snatched up at 3:31 a.m.

I could of had him.

A case of reality screwing up the fantasy world.
