Wow.  First it was Longoria.  Then Zimmerman.  Then Sandoval.

Now David Wright will go on the DL with a stress fracture in his back.

Oh, and Chipper Jones will be taking his stay on the DL any moment now…..

So, who you gonna plug that hole with?

In one of my main dynasty (money) leagues…I am dealing with Wright.  I also have Beltre, so had been plugging him in…and recently was able to grab Callaspo off waivers.  We have an IF slot in that league…so I'm currently playing Callaspo at 3B, Beltre as my IF option.

You just have to hope if you don't have a replacement for Wright that your guys at other positions are performing…..

Looks like Justin Turner is going to take over at 3B for the Mets in the short term.  Even though he's at .333 through 48 AB's, and even with ALL 3B injuries, it still seems that there would be better options out there on the wavier wire.

Good tip, Bones.  And depending on how deep the rosters are in leagues, and how many teams in various leagues…there actually may NOT be a better option.  I might keep an eye on Turner as I have Wright in a couple of leagues….

Yup, you're right.  Turner would probably be a good grab in NL only leagues for the short term….
