I was pretty high on Jiminez going into this season…but not this high on him…he's definitely the biggest surprise.
Hitters….Cano, Willingham, Corey Hart, McGehee are all raking…..harder to single out one guy. And honestly….as high as I was/am on Heyward – he may be the biggest surprise. As a rookie…he's got a .977 OPS, .410 OBP….pretty damn impressive.

Jimenez lol, easy call. I think our rankings will be updated shortly and he will surely shoot up.
Great topic.

Jose Bautista for the hitters. or the blue jays for that matter. A bad surprise for me is Ricky Nolasco.

Toronto.
Good surprises: Vernon Wells, Fred Lewis, and Jose Bautista, Shaun Marcum
Bad: Aaron Miles and Adam Lind
I stil say Rios as the biggest because he's producing stud numbers in all catergories.

I would have to say Vernon Wells…he seems to have risen from the dead. Time will tell if he can keep going or if he has just been off to a hot start. I wouldn't have even considered drafting him with my last pick before the season started.

Another surprise hitter has to be Miguel Olivo…I figured the power would be there in Colorado but his average is hovering around .300 as well….I grabbed him in a couple of leagues when I had injuries to guys like Montero and Posada and haven't lost a step at catcher thanks to his bat.
