Following up a recent player spotlight, it looks like Brandon Lyon will be having season ending surgery to repair the biceps tendon in his throwing arm.

Again, for those of you with the foresight NOT to drop Melancon upon Lyon's recent (short) return back to the Astros, kudos to you, because it looks like you have a closer for the rest of the year.   

Probably too late now, but you just might want to check and see if Mark was forgotten in your league and is still lingering on the waiver wire….
