Last year, Carlos Santana took quite a hit at the plate, so much so, that he missed the rest of the year.

Last night, Posey got hit so hard he couldn't put any weight on his left leg, and had to be carried off the field.

An MRI is scheduled for today.  The Giants did not reveal what x-rays showed last night.  Oh oh.

Fortunately, there could be catchers available on your waiver wire.  Geovany Soto will probably come off the DL and play Saturday for the Cubs.  I've seen him on more than one waiver wire.  Same, incredibly, goes for Yadier Molina of the Cardinals.  He's hitting over .300, and even better than that lately.

For players in real leagues where managers pay attention, Jonathan Lucroy of Milwaukee and J.P. Arencibia of Toronto have been putting up some real nice numbers all across the board the past few weeks.

So there are options available.

Oh man…you are getting slaughtered by injuries!  I have one team with David Wright, Mauer, and Adam Lind on the DL….

Since it's redraft, it's probably safe to drop a couple of those guys…Roberts/Posey maybe?

Zim should be back in a couple more weeks from what I heard this morning…so at least you have that going for you!

That's a great thought about Sandoval.  But I'm a Giants fan, and unfortunately no one is talking that way that I know of….
