Can some of you experts tell me which strategies work best for you?

Like:

Hitter, Hitter, SP

or SP, Hitter, Hitter

Or better yet position specific, like:

Howard, SP, OF?

I guess Im just fishing for a creative approach Im not thinking of. I know a lot of it depends on who is available but let's say I draft Howard, what would be the next best position to target?

I usually draft like this: Hitter, Hitter, Hitter, SP, Hitter, Hitter, SP, SP, hitter until the later rounds, then i take some sleeper pitchers with decent upside.

Thats kinda how I draft too. Any other options that look good to you? Can you win going SP, SP, SP then hitters? Just tempted to try it.

I just commented on this on another thread, here is what I said:

It's like I say in football.. any strategy can work, but it just depends on what you're good at. Like with football, waiting on WRs works if you are good at drafting WRs late. It's just that simple unfortunately.

I love drafting rookie runners in redraft leagues and I am good at finding sleeper rushers, so sometimes I like to go WR early in at least one or two leagues to try and build a power house squad.

So with baseball, if you are a good sleeper pitcher drafter, waiting on pitching is extremely advised. If you aren't good at that aspect, and we all can't be good at everything, well, then I say draft with balance.

Make sense?

So what are your strengths draft-wise? Let's start there.
