Go figure Public Leagues Forums

Public leagues can be fun. I've met some great people in them (shout out to Roy) and I've had some really great smack talk battles in others. But sometimes they just take the cake in terms of what you might find on the waiver wire. Not often, but every once in a while you can find……..

…..the 9th ranked player of the past week? The 36th ranked player of the past 14 days!? Are you kidding? No.

I have Ryan Zimmerman on the DL in a public league, and had to stick Jack Hanahan in there from the Indians. Yes, a guy who's name I am not even sure how to spell, lol. No HR's or SB's lately, one run scored, BUT 8 RBI. So I go checking the waiver wire today and find Chris Davis of the Orioles of all people. Like I said, ranked ninth in the past week. Duh, I made the add.

Anyways, those are lucky days when that happens!
