I am still stinging from losing one of my leagues last year 4-5 on one stinking point in runs or rbi, I don't remember which.  And guess what, both Josh Hamilton and Joe Mauer were hurt that World Series week, and both were sitting on my bench.

Can you say "here we go again?"

I have climbed into first place in my most competitive league on the strength of my hitting and deep bench.  Imagine how I felt yesterday when the following were out or got hurt:

Mike Stanton: bruised left big toe.

Kevin Youkilis:  On the DL

Pablo Sandoval: Apparent shoulder issue

Richie Weeks:  On the DL

Mike Morse: Inflamed elbow

Jacoby Ellsbury: Hit in the back and taken out of game.

Suffice it to say, if you have THOSE six guys on your roster, you are probably vying for 1st place too.
