Let the arguments begin!

I imagine this would inflame Braves fans, what with Kimbrel getting 46 saves, and 127 K's in 77 innings.  And they have a point; he was lights out most of the season.

But there's the rub.  The season is ALL 162 games, and Craig blew 3 of his final 8 appearances.  If he had closed out one more of those three, well, the Braves could of been in the playoffs.

Valverde on the other hand was PERFECT for the entire season.  He saved 49 games out of 49.  Perfection will win you this award.  At least that's my take.

I think Valverde deserves this, no doubt.  Pretty amazing to go all year without blowing one freaking game!
