He's out six-eight weeks. go get Chris Perez, he'll get the closer gig for now and might not have to give it back.

Thanks for the heads up Dolemite. I heard many good things about Chris Perez when he was traded to Cleveland in the Mark DeRosa deal. I'm looking forward to seeing if he can step up and take the closer role away from KW.
If Perez is taken in your league, here are some other players who may their team's closer job.
Jon Rauch, MIN (for the season or until they find a replacement for Nathan)
Michael Wuertz, OAK (until Bailey returns from the DL)
Franklin Morales, COL (only until Streets returns from the DL)
Ryan Madison, PHI (I predict Lidge will have a short leash closing in Philly)
Watch Perez closely, Dolemite's comment couldn't be more true.

Here is another update on closers:
Minnesota Twins- They are going with a closer-by-committee to start the season. (Jon Rauch, Matt Guerrier, and Jose Mijares will get an opportunity)
Jason Frasor- Was named Toronto's Closer over Kevin Gregg and Scott Downs.
Brad Lidge- Will not start the season with the team so Ryan Madson will be the closer until he returns.
Andrew Bailey- Says he fells good and, baring any setbacks, he will probably be ready for opening day.

Thanks for all that info….Definitely something to monitor…Not just in leagues that depend on saves, but even some of those "replacements" will be crucial in leagues that count holds as well….

Ok, so less than a week after the Twins said they were going with a closer-by-committee, they have named Jon Rauch their closer to start the season.
Also, Matt Lindstrom is going to start the season as the Astro's closer over Brandon Lyon.
