With Adam LaRoche being diagnosed with a torn labrum and of course being out for quite a while as a result, this has opened up a regular starting job at first base for Morse. Anyone buying?
After seeing he hit 3 HR's in 3 straight games in Milwaukee, I added him to 3 or 4 of my teams just in case…..

Well. I'm glad I added him to those 3 or 4 teams! Morse had 2 of the Nationals 4 hits tonight, and none more important than a lead-off/walk-off home run to win the game for Washington. That's now 4 HR's in 4 straight games.
Anyone else buying?

I watched that game on the Padres channel. Down hear we get all the Padre games and some Angel game on Fox sports west.
Yeah, he creamed that homer and got Drew Storen a win after Drew blew the save, my last game with Drew Storen as I traded him along with Ichiro for Russell Martin(who stole another base last night, he's gonna break some kind of catcher stolen base record)

At this precise moment, San Diego is up on Washington 2-1 in the top of the 9th.
Morse is due up 3rd in the bottom half of the inning.
I wonder what the odds are of him hitting a HR in his 5th straight game AND winning another one in the bottom of the ninth?

Ahhh, Morse didn't get it done this time.
But he could jack 20+ HR's from now until October.
As for me and my family….we went and saw the 4th installment of the "Pirates" franchise (no, of the Caribbean, not Pittsburg). I'd have to say it was my favorite of the four…I believe it was because I could actually follow the plot on the first showing this time, lol.
