Fielder easy call for me. How about this one Justin Morneau or Cabrera?

First…Fielder over Cabrera….Fielder is younger than Cabrera, has such an amazing upside……
I would take Cabrera over Morneau though…. Cabrera throughout his career has outranked Morneau in several of the key and misc. offensive categories…The only issue is that Cabrera tends to K a lot more, but that doesn't necessarily detract from his solid all around game….

Yea Cabrera is my pick too but I like Morneau a lot and have him in a keeper league and I feel like he can still be as good as Cabrera but I might be too optimistic I dont know.

I've honestly been a major fan of Morneau since his rookie campaign….You definitely cannot go wrong and there's honeslty not a sigificant drop from Cabrera to Morneau…. Morneau still puts up decent power numbers, while exhitibing extreme patience at the plate and hits for a respectable BA for a 1B.
I rank Morneau in the top-7 of 1B and quite honestly there's a slightly major drop-off after that spot….. He is a keeper in every league since he's relatively young, can hit 32 HRs, 119 RBIs, .295 BA, 85-BBs, .892 OPS….

Fielder for Power but overall Cabrera he'll have an easier time legging out a double or attempting a steal than the big guy.

I guess I'll always be partial to Prince Fieler because I still have the images of him in his pre-teen years drilling mammoth blasts during batting practice at Detroit Tiger Stadium (during the time in which his since estranged father, Cecil was launching shot after shot)…..
Prince doesn't need any speed for a double…all he has to do is launch rockets all day long…. Obviously, Cabrera has gotten off to a torrid start to '10 (compared to Fielder's horrid one), but come season's end their output should be ablout equal….Honestly, you cannot go wrong w/either one…..

Fielder still has continued to start the '10 with a "whimper", but he made some strides with 1 HR, 4 RBI, 9 TB, and 3 R…..Obviously not at the level we've grown accustomed to, but that will come in due time (especially when the weather gets warmer)…
On the other hand, Cabrera 1 HR, 8 RBI, 18 TB, and 3 R……
I still prefer Fielder though and he's rather notorious for slow starts…..

Agreed….In fact…Fielder's power stats throughout his career tend to pick up in May and I don't see why that won't apply again this year….
