Do you guys have Mike Napoli in your league? If so, What are you doing with him now since Jeff Mathis is playing?
I picked up Montero (he was dropped after a trade) but luckily I have reached a agreement for Matt Cain. I overpaid for Cain but I think my team improved in the trade. Power isn't an issue on my team so I viewed Dunn as expendable. I see Garrett Jones hitting potentially 30hr's this year so I will take a risk.
I give:
A. Dunn
M. Napoli
M. Scherzer
I Get/pickup:
G. Jones
M. Montero
M. Cain
R. Davis (I dropped him for Montero, but I will pick him back up)

Miguel Montero sustained what initially appears to be a nasty knee injury during Saturday night's game and had to be removed in the 4th inning…. Here's a link:

Obviously it would be best to refrain from that trade contingent on Montero's MRI results……..

Dang, the trade was processed this afternoon. My Luck… I guess Rod Barajas will have to do for a little while. I cant believe he gets hurt the day I get him…

I think instead of Barajas I am going to pick up C. Snyder. Montero might be out for the season and Snyder might supply some offense for me. Other notable free agents in my league are Pudge, Olivo, Iannetta, C. Ruiz, and J. Baker. Does anyone know if/when Buster Posey may be called up? As soon as I finish a trade now I need to start a new one for another catcher.

That's unfortunate…Do you have DL spots available in your league? If so…. definitely go after Chris Snyder…Snyder is on a mission to prove he belongs in the starting line-up regardless if Montero is healthy or not….. In fact…Snyder went 2-4 today w/1 HR and 5 RBI…. He more likely is available no where higher than 35% in your leagues right now, so definitely worth considering being a replacement for Montero…..

It has since been revealed here that there is no ligament damage in Montero's knee: http://www.azcentral.com/membe…..coro/78502
Therefore, the early prognosis is that he should be back in action by early June….. I believe he'll easily win back his starting job, especially since he provides with his LH bat more balance to the Dbacks line-up…..

Thats great news, I will keep him on my DL now instead of dropping him. Thanks for the update.

I just grabbed him in a semi deep league because he was cut. Hope he heals up.

No problem… He's the type of player who will bounce back quickly from any type of setback.. He's very resilient…. He was excelling at a high level before the injury and Montero should pick up from where he left off……
