I have a league on ESPN that is H2H 8X8 league where you choose a Major League Baseball team and then get 8 players from that team. You choose 7 if your team is a bottom 10 team as far as record goes, and then you get two first round picks to start the draft. It might seem like teams such as the yankees and mets will dominate, but we will have a draft for the remaining players and it will be in order of how your team did last year. So teams such as the mariners will have high draft picks. It is NOT a snake draft so there are plenty of chances for the lesser teams to get good players and make it competitive. Teams that are taken so far include LAD, NYY, NYM, FLA, PHI, DET, TB, BOS, CHC, MIN, PIT, CIN, LAA. Even though it does not look like it there are very good teams left, especially with the drafting system. If you pick WAS you will get a good young team and the 1st pick and 11th pick in this draft, so those will be top tier players to add on. KC has a good 7 players, CHW does as well. TEX has a great hitting base and then you can draft pitchers from there. If you are interested in this league leave your e-mail and the team that you want. This is a very active league and i will find replacement owners for anyone who is not participating. Also there will be a minor league draft in-season that will allow you to draft probably 9 players. This will be your minor league team and nobody else can pick them up, I will keep track of these rosters on a google doc so everyone can see them and make trades if they want to.
