Prospect Watch #5: Will Middlebrooks Forums

As mentioned on the spotlight about Kevin Youkilis, Middlbrooks is absolutely torching AAA ball this past month. Owner of a .333 batting average, he has smacked 9, count them, NINE HR's and driven in 27 RBI in just 24 games. He has a 1.057 OPS, and is just begging for a chance at the Green Monster.

He may get it today, as he may get called up to sub for Youkilis and his sore back. If he starts off hot in the majors, the 23 year old may replace the veteran. Could be time for a speculative add, especially if you're down a 3B like Longoria or Zimmerman.
