Boy is this a tough one.  What do you do with Braun?  Right now I sit tight…for most of us drafting is a long ways off.  It depends on if he really does have to serve a 50 game suspension.  

For experts leagues that are drafting soon…well, we'll let the other experts decide.

For the common player…you wait and see what happens.

Still, in the leagues I've been in, I could see taking Braun early and sitting on him.  I play every day, day in and day out, and I think I would survive and make the playoffs regardless, even if I took him #1 overall.

BUT in leagues where everyone plays day in and day out, that is a much tougher call.

It looks like most other sites are dropping him to around the 50th pick if the suspension goes through.  If that happens, you could always employ a strategy of taking him in round 3 or 4 and letting him help you get to the playoffs the last 112 games of the year.  Seems realistic for a guy who would normally qualify to go Top 3 overall.

Right now we'll just leave him on top of our board and see how the hearings turn out.
