Decent closers will always be available throughout the season. Here are some of the "lesser known" closers:

R. Soriano, TB

R. Franklin, STL

D. Aardsma, SEA

L. Nunez, FLA (really has no competition)

M. Capps, WAS (has had a horrible ST)

O. Dotel, PIT

M. Gonzalez, BAL

M. Lindstrom, HOU

J. Frasor, TOR

J. Rauch, MIN (J. Nathan, Out for season)

C. Perez, CLE (K. Wood, DL)

R. Madson, PHI (B. Lidge, DL)

F. Morales, COL (H. Street, DL)

Good Luck Drafting!

The biggest sleeper I'd keep my eyes on is Rafael Soriano of Tampa Bay.

He had 27 saves last year in split duty and had over 100+ strikeouts.

Uncontested and on a better team, I expect his win total to rise by 10-15. While I see his K total to go down slightly, I don't think that dip will be enough to be concerned with, and at the end of the season, I see Soriano being a top 5-7 closer.

I'd target Perez he'll be gotten cheap and as I said before he might not have to give it back. I like Dotel too but his team will hinder him. Keep an eye on Drew Storen as well. Capps is good but if he falters this could be the guy to get. The MIN closer situation is a committee so steer clear unless needed.

I don't know if he can actually be classified as a "sleeper" or not….I'm not trying to be a "homer" here…But I would look at Chad Qualls in the middle-late rounds….

He was primarily used as a 8th inning set-up man with the Astros, however, he became the Dbacks full-time closer towards the end of '08 and converted 7-7 save opportunities and was starting to get on track in '09 until a screaming line-drive on 8/30 off the bat of Jason Michaels  which eventually resulted in a dislocated knee-cap that abruptly ended his season…..

Also, Matt Gueirrier is worth following as I'm not entirely convinced that Jon Rauch will last as the Twins closer….
