Ha ha….you proved him to be what we thought he was.
In that sense I can believe he turned down your offer.
On the other hand…I can't believe it! He gave up a shot at the best pitcher in baseball in Halladay, a power hitting 3B who plays in Texas (!), and the still likely to rebound CarGo so he can keep Cano and McCutchen and Kimbrel?
Ok, so maybe he can't make that trade based on the rest of his roster. But not even a counter to your counter? Hmmmmmm, some guys want their cake, to eat it, and to OWN the cake store so they can get more, More, MORE!!!

I would have gotten Prado too(who I like a lot).
Yeah, I followed your advice and quickly found out the real motive behind his trade offers. He started with the name of his team "Howie Doinn"(very harmless and greeting at the same time) even though his name is Steve. All season long he's targeted the players he wanted and gave up very little to get them.
I made sure to address his needs so he would have no excuse, and since he is a heavy streamer he only has one position player on his bench. Plus I made sure to make it sweet, giving up slightly more star power than I would receive. Now that I know I'm going to bug him a few times with some more offers, haha.
