Traded away: 2B Brian Roberts, SP Jon Lester(sniff, sniff!), and SP Tommy Hanson.

Received: 2B Chase Utley

I still have SPs Lincecum, Vasquez, Oswalt, Kiroda, Wolf, and Romero. Utley is a top 10 player and obviously a huge upgrade over Roberts. I also think Hanson is going to come back to Earth soon and now is the time to sell. I hate giving up my boy Lester, but I think I have the pitching to carry me for the rest of the season.

I think it was a win for me in getting Utley. What do you guys think?

Its may have been a little bit too much, but Utley is an elite top 10 star and in our format with OPS, his value far out ways Roberts. I know Hanson pitched lights out today, but I think he comes back to Earth a bit. I also don't like carrying 8 SPs and there also guys like Lowe and Happ hanging around on the waiver wire. So after the trade, here is my lineup.

I must agree with the other posts, you overpaid. Yet if you believe that Utley will improve your team, why not. Your lineup and RP's are good and your pitching isn't bad. If only you could have kept Tommy Hanson though, he is looking great. I hope this trade works out in your favor.
