Here's a couple of players you may be able to get in mid rounds who could pay much higher dividends than their draft spot. Call them sleepers, although some of these guys don't really fit the mold. I tend to call them undervalued.

Andre Ethier

Lost in the shuffle in LA behind Matt Kemp and Manny Ramirez, Ethier quietly puts up quality numbers each season and seems to be peaking.

Last season, he cracked the 30-100 club. He also has a career .291 average, and with his power numbers going up, Manny Ramirez returning to the lineup- which should make him the beneficiary of quite a few pitches he wouldn't normally get, Ethier could well crack the 35-40 homer plateau and get over 100 RBIs yet again.

I've seen Ethier going as low as the 10th round in drafts. If you look at numbers and what he could potentially do, you could wind up getting 2nd-3rd round value at a bargain basement price.

Jered Weaver

Although he's not officially been named it, all signs point to Weaver being Los Angeles' ace. He's another of the on the rise peakers, who's numbers have been steady so far, and are only going to improve.

He's been going in the 15th-16th. My opinion, he's a 8th-9th round talent, if not higher.

Excellent topic….

I don't know if it has been common in other drafts, but Jason Kubel lasted until (in what was essentially the 19th round in my draft) and I couldn't resist him..His #s have been on the rise and should improve more at Target Field…..

Scott Feldman went undrafted in my league (which is shocking in itself)….Wonder if he fell under the radar that drastically in other leagues?

Drew Stubbs- has been awesome this spring with power AND speed potential. Hitting at the top of the order too.

Wow great topic guys.

I think this is finally the year where David Price shows he was worth the hype. His upside is huge considering his ADP.

Also get Brett Anderson while you can, he is going to be an ace.
