OnlineIt's never too early to start thinking about next year, so who do you grab if you have the #1 pick in redraft leagues?
Do you go with tried and true Albert Pujols? So many consecutive seasons of fantasy goodness, but does he stay with the Cardinals? If contract negotiations are bad does it affect him? Does age catch up?
How about almost triple crown winner Matt Kemp? He had a great campaign once before, only to come back and be considered a fantasy flop the next season. Does he do that again, or is the beginning of a great run? And does the turmoil in ownership affect him at all?
How about Ryan Braun. Real close to Kemp's numbers. Very consistent. Is it enough to leap over the other two?
Your turn…..
PS: Will be doing a pre-2012 Top 25 soon……
OfflineMan…this is a tough choice next year….
Pujols is the incumbent, but then you have Braun, Kemp, and guys like Votto (who sometimes gets overlooked, I think).
I think for overall production, in a pretty standard format – you have to look Braun and Kemp first….average, speed, power, they have it all…..
