Here's the counter offer I got: I give up Josh Hamilton, Buster Posey, and M. Moustakas FOR Evan Longoria and Matt Cain.
I have 2 other catchers: M. Montero of the D-backs and John Lucroy of Milwaukee. Obviously a big improvement at 3B and a #2 SP. My other OF's at the moment are CarGo, Ellsbury, Trumbo, Morales. Also have Ryan Howard sitting on DL for later in the year.
What do you think?

PS: Also in exchange for Longoria, I would be sending Mike Moustakas to the other owner.
The caveat there is he would be dropping Cody Ross, who has leads the Red Sox with 5 HR and 17 RBI. This is a no waiver league and is reviewed by the commish (no votes on trades), so I could accept the trade and snatch Ross up immediately.
Someone share what they think please!!!!!

Just have him throw in Ross if he's going to dump him anyway…..I say go for it…Longoria and Cain are absolute studs. Sometimes you have to make a big trade to kick your team in the rear and get it going…

Forgot to update, I pulled the trigger on this trade last week.
And I felt real good about it, especially when Hamilton was taken out of Sunday nights game for back spasms.
And I felt real bad about it, when Longoria was taken out of tonight's game with a sore knee after an awkward slide on a steal attempt.
Rats.
