Getting excited…I love the MLB draft. Some people get pumped for the NFL draft (I do too, actually) but this is really where I love to watch and analyze…..

 

Anyone else follow the prospect side of the game pretty closely???

 

Will be interesting to see which way the Pirates go…I like Gerrit Cole a lot.  Big athletic righty with high velocity fastball (can hit about 98).  Would be a good pick for the Pirates…although I'd be happy for them to go another route and let Cole slip to KC….

Now now Bob, let's not get greedy.  Your Royals have LOTSA prospects on the farm already…let someone else have a chance…say the Rockies or the Giants…hmmmmmm???????

Well…the Royals pick fifth…no need to let any good prospects slip by to those other teams you mentioned….
