Well.. it's about time we begin the official Bryce Harper watch….As most of you know, Harper has been dubbed the "LeBron James" of baseball and will be the consensus #1 overall pick of the '10 draft…..

 

Does everyone else buy into hype?  I personally believe he will live-up to it all…..He's only 17 (won't be 18 until 10/16),  and already at the JR College level (through 31 games) he has .431 BA, 39 Runs, 12 HRs, 35 RBIs, 6 SBs, 1.459 OBP. 

 

He's definitely a gifted prodigy, but still has immense upside….  Barring any injuries or any other types of setbacks he potentially can eclipse several records at a staggering pace….Definitely worth monitoring his progress….

I admit I am not that informed on him. Thanks for mentioning it though. I have a dynasty league and this is good info.

It appears that Harper will be the '10 1st pick overall in the draft and is predicted to be in the Majors w/in 2 1/2 years….Again, definitely someone to keep tabs on……

I think he's  a stud, but I could also see him going down in flames….It's so hard to say.  He's so young, and you just never know – he wouldn't be the first big-time prospect to never pan out, though.
