Well on Saturday my dad and I ventured out to the Royals/Angels game, which was followed by a "futures game" featuring AA vs. AAA.  It was neat to see some of the kids up close and personal.  Mike Montomery….wow….he was mowing guys down.  I think he struck out 5 or 6 in three innings.  Chris Dwyer for AA team kept the AAA bats in check as well.

Moustakas did rip a nice single, and while Hosmer didn't do much at the plate, he is impressive to watch.  Huge guy (like 6'4) and very athletic.  Moustakas is more stocky, but even he looked fairly nimble in the field.  Lorenzo Cain is super fast…..played CF for a few innings and got on the bases once or twice.  Can't wait to see some of these guys hit the bigs (and that's not even mentioning Will Myers, Christian Colon, Danny Duffy, and so on and so on….)
