Since we dont have a basketball site, we will make this our little bball section.
Could you guys name your top 10-20 keepers in order for next year. (keep age in mind)
Heres my opinion:
1. LeBron James
2. Dwayne Wade
3. Kevin Durant
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Chris Paul
6. Dwight Howard
7. Amare Stoudemire
8. Dirk Nowitzki
9. Chris Bosh
10. Al Jefferson?
11. Brandon Roy
12. Danny Granger
13. Tim Duncan
14. Deron Williams
15. Devin Harris
Discuss my rankings, what should be changed for top keepers?

I like this topic:
Tier One
1. LeBron James
2. Dwight Howard
3. Chris Paul
4. Kobe Bryant
Tier Two A
5. Dwayne Wade
6. Chris Bosh
7. Kevin Durant
8. Derron Williams
Tier Two B
9. Amare Stoudamire
10. Danny Granger
11. Carmelo Anthony
Tier Three
12. Gilbert Arenas
13. Dirk Nowitzki
14. OJ Mayo
15. Derrick Rose
Derrick Rose is the next super star, so I say attack him now via trade. OJ Mayo and Rose are eventual top 5-8 overall fantasy picks here soon. Also don't be surprised if Greg Oden becomes a fantasy super star within a season or two. He won't start of consistent next year, and his coaching staff could limit his development, but I love his future and I think he is a guy to target right now because so many are down on his long-term value.
Don't forget about Gilbert Arenas next year. The guy was a top 5 pick before his string of injuries over the past couple years. He's what, 26? Target him in the second to third and you may get first-round numbers!!!

Mayo over Westy? Without hesitation my friend. Mayo is a possible top 5 overall player in 2 seasons from now, that one isn't even close if you ask me. Mayo has LeBron like fantasy ability. Westy could be good, but top 15-20 overall will likely be his long-term ceiling if all goes well and he excels. If I had to guess, Mayo will average well over 7+ fantasy points per night more than Westy.
You really do like Westy, don't ya Steelers0087? I like how bold your stance is, though! Given how strongly you feel about it, I may invest in Westy just in case you're right. The guy that owns Mayo in my league won't give him up for Kobe, that's how valued he is in my league. Westy, on the other hand, can be had via a Nate Robinson or Ramon Sessions… that's how different Mayo and Westy are valued in my league.
Like I said, you could be right, who knows? I like Westy, though. You are right, he will be a fine fantasy player soon.

Wow, he wouldnt trade Mayo for Kobe. I kinda agree with you on Mayo but i still like Westbrook better.
Mayo gets a lot of points but not much else, his assists are extremely low. He needs to pass the ball more!!!!!!
Westbrook seems to have the better all-around stat line.

Well what scoring are we talking. Westy might be closer to Mayo in value in category leagues, but in regular scoring leagues, Mayo will outscore Westy by a TON IMO.
I've been wrong before, but in regular scoring leagues, I doubt I am. Mayo is an elite star in the making.
You did make a great trade I think. Nice job just going with your gut!!!!

I think scoring has a lot to do with your arguments. Mayo is kind of Lebron like and Westy could be the next Rondo.

The Suns had Rondo… what were we thinking? :) We also had Nate Robinson and dumped both players for I believe cash. Rudy Fernandez too. Three potential all-star talents for nothing. Awful managing.

Amare, Nate, Rudy, Nash, Rondo—-wow. Suns would be stacked!

Yea, and could they have taken Westy? No I think he was a top 8 pick, right?
We should have taken Hibbert IMO. He would have been huge. I do not like Lopez for the long-term, Hibbert would have fit us perfectly.
You a huge Oklahoma City fan, Steelers0087, or is this just a fantasy connection ?

How good is Nate Robinson going to be? Sell high? You like Paul Millsap or Nate Robinson more for the future?
