In the long line of closers squandering their role aways…it appears now that Manny Corpas has replaced Franklin Morales as the Rockies closer (until Street is reactivated).

Corpas is available in 87% of the leagues and flourished in that role back in '07.  Definitely someone to pick-up for the next couple of weeks (contingent on when Street has returned)…….

Sure enough…I gave Corpas a chance and he promptly gave up an inning's work…4-Rs (all earned), 2-Hs (including 1-HR), 1-B/1-K, which inflated his ERA from 1.66 to 3.18, which lead to his 2nd loss of the season…..

Oibviously, too premature to give-up on Corpas, however, my bullpen woes have really impacted me this season…. Oh well…
